Visilume Limited has become aware of counterfeit products being sold on marketplace websites.

Imitation or counterfeit products may appear cheaper, but they can pose serious risks. Unlike genuine products, they may not have been properly tested, manufactured to the required safety standards or meet CE-marking requirements for health, safety and environmental protection in Europe.

Consumers should be cautious when purchasing imitation products, as their quality, safety and compliance cannot always be verified. Choosing genuine products from Visilume helps ensure that the item has undergone the appropriate checks and meets all relevant standards.

As an example, the first pictured item is not a genuine Lumistar, F.H.Papenmeier product.  The part code is missing from the box, and the serial number is not referenced correctly. Whilst the second picture shows a genuine product label highlighting the differences in the presentation of the product information.
